The EROMANGA HALL OF FAME (EHOF) is a hall of fame for ero-manga — one whose members are chosen solely by the immovable record: sales, ratings, and honors. Every ordering is stated explicitly as a Dendo Score (the overall score), and the formulas are published in full.

Why build a hall of fame? Ero-manga is an art that official history rarely keeps. Magazines fold, sales records scatter, and even masterpieces become untraceable within a decade — this is not a culture that survives on its own. EHOF was built to carry this field's achievements to those who come after: to preserve the records as they vanish, and to hand its many masterworks on to the readers yet to find them. A hall of fame is simply the most enduring vessel for that.

The hall has three wings. The Doujin Halls: a hall of manga circles drawn from a full census of both stores, DLsite Doujin and FANZA Doujin, and a Works Hall that combines the sales and ratings published by the digital manga market — at present those same two stores — so that a work's demand is stated plainly as a single figure. The Commercial Halls: an Author Hall, a Works Hall, and a publisher ranking drawn from the records of commercial tankobon. The Paper Era: a hall reconstructed from physical bookstore sales (the Toranoana in-store charts) — a kind of record that will never be made again.

What it preserves is not only numbers. It collects the honors of the reader-voted Ero-Manga Awards (2001–) and the third-party-judged Kono Ero-Manga ga Sugoi!, along with the words of peers and critics on each artist (VOICES ── a record of reception), each with its source and an Internet Archive snapshot.

Work data is updated automatically every morning. The Selection Criteria are set out in full, and no ranking is ever changed by hand.
