A manga artist who made an adult tankobon debut in March 1999 with "AVシネ倶楽部" (Angel Shuppan) under the name 梁川理央. From 2006 the artist used the name Yanagawa Rio (やながわ理央), publishing more than thirty books through Sanwa Shuppan, Angel Shuppan, Toen Shobo, Fujimi Shuppan, and others. The artist is known for pursuing two parallel lineages: works on crossdressing boys (otoko no ko) and younger boys, represented by "僕たちオトコの娘。", "年下の男の子。", and "童貞王子", and works on married and mature women, such as "濡れてる人妻" and "乳妻×2". The artist died in 2020.
