Crimson (クリムゾン) is a doujin circle active since the late 1990s, and the name doubles as the pen name of its leader. It made its name with derivative works of abuse centered on the heroines of titles such as Final Fantasy VII and BLACK CAT, releasing 184 works on DLsite between 2002 and 2018. While it favors the pattern of extending a series and then gathering it into omnibus editions, as with Sephiria Hard (2004–2006) and Kajitsu, it also produces original works such as Ichinenkan Chikan Saretsuzuketa Onna (2017). Cumulative sales exceed 134,000.
