Frenchletter is a doujin circle led by Fujisaki Hikari (藤崎ひかり). Toranoana's mail-order records credit every one of the circle's books to Fujisaki Hikari, and the National Diet Library holds its doujinshi from 2015 onward. FANZA releases began in 2013 with derivative works on Touhou Project. From 2014 Kantai Collection became the center of its output, and the Hito Natsu no Ayamachi series, built around the submarines I-401 and Ro-500, entered Toranoana's doujinshi rankings. The circle has also released on DLsite since 2018. Around the same time it shifted its focus to derivative works on VTubers, building the Classmate no Idol V series and, more recently, carrying Idol Kami-eshi VTuber no Ero Ura-aka Katsudō through to a compilation. From Touhou to Kantai Collection to VTubers, it has followed the subjects at the center of derivative work in each period.
