Chocoro's drawing is accurate in the direction of not tidying up — body hair left alone, a little extra on the belly and thighs. Not an idealised body; a body with weight. That is why what is on the other side of the screen feels close. On the staging the reception is unanimous: read it on a phone and it genuinely feels like snooping, readers say, over and over. Several also note that there is comparatively little direct sex in it. That it works anyway is the design.

Because it never appeared on DLsite it has stayed half outside the Japanese doujin review circuit, yet two sequels and an omnibus followed, the doujin edition itself was carried by an e-book label, and in English it holds an entry in the databases and an official translated edition.
