Shindo L (新堂エル) is an adult manga artist who began dojin activity with the circle "DA HOOTCH" at the summer 2006 Comic Market and made a commercial debut in 2008 with "生殖ルームサービス", published in TI Net's BUSTER COMIC. Following the first book, "晒し愛" (2010), the artist published "TSF物語" (2011), "新堂エルの文化人類学" (2013), and "純愛イレギュラーズ" (2014) through TI Net, and "変身" (2016) and "The Pink Album" (2017) through Wani Magazine. Alongside a recurring focus on TSF, in which characters' sexes are swapped, the artist produces works employing anthropomorphization and premise-driven stories that build fictional customs and institutions in fine detail, and has also provided original artwork for adult games. In the reader-voted Ero-Manga Awards the artist placed high with each new book: "晒し愛" fifth in 2010, "TSF物語" fifth in 2011, "新堂エルの文化人類学" third in 2013, and "純愛イレギュラーズ" ninth in 2014.
