The Nation of Head Scissors is a doujin circle active since 2013, taking mixed-sex professional wrestling and catfighting as its constant subject. In its credits the circle itself typically handles planning, original concept, and script, while the artwork is drawn by outside illustrators. Accumulating works such as Mixed Wrestling Japan 2016 (2016) and the Girls Beat! Plus serials (from 2020), it has reached 229 works and a cumulative 150,000 downloads by 2026. It also publishes in English on DeviantArt and Patreon — a parallel line of activity aimed at enthusiasts overseas that is among its distinguishing features.
