It spends close to three hundred pages on a master who plays the villain and on the years in which three people grow up under his roof. "Dorei wo Choukyou shite Harem Tsukuru" stands in the hall as the book that broke a seven-year silence.

It is a fantasy in which a master takes in three people bought as slaves and raises them. Its subject is a master-and-servant story built on a world of slavery; after four years, the relationship between the master and the three, now grown, moves from family toward a harem bound by mutual love.

The heart of the book is the master himself. He talks like a cold-blooded slave owner while giving the three baths, meals, clothes and an education, and raising them with care. Comment gathers on the comedy born of that gap between word and deed, and some readers liken it to a familiar internet template in which someone boasts of cruelty while plainly doting. The three, one devoted to the point of obsession, one diligent and unable to say what she feels, one as free as a cat, are clearly distinguished in temperament and in race. The everyday life, drawn down to its magic and its strange creatures, is said to read well as an all-ages manga in its own right. The adult scenes, too, are placed as the outcome of the grown characters' constitutions and of relationships that have deepened.

Nokishita no Nekoya's last new title on DLsite had come at the start of 2017. This book collects the serial that its author, Aldehyde, began on social media in 2022, and on its own it accounts for about three quarters of everything the circle has sold on that store. The serial also became three all-ages volumes from KADOKAWA, and a sequel, "Mazoku wo Shikonde Harem Tsukuru", followed in 2026.

Official translations reach five languages, English among them. It stands 107th among the hall's doujin works, 5th in the Harem division and 16th in Pure Love.
