A long-running series can rebuild its front door partway through. "Makoto ni Zannen desu ga Bouken no Sho 6 wa Kiete Shimaimashita." stands in the hall for turning the clock back, replacing its cast, and giving the series a second entrance.

Its timeline sits before the first book. Twin siblings born of an angel and a human, working as bounty hunters, track the monsters that destroyed their home and strike at a succubus stronghold. It is a work of the onee-shota and inhuman kinds with a boy at its centre, built on the premise of children who come for revenge and are turned back.

This volume gives the enemy a hierarchy: a higher order of succubus appears as their leader. What readers record is the way the gap in power is shown as a gap in experience, and the leader's face, which never loses its chill. The revenge story moves toward an ending in which names and memories are taken away, and the series pays off the "erased" of its title in yet another form.

The circle KAMINENDO.CORP has been run since 1999 by the artist Akazawa RED. Its download sales began in 2017 with the first instalment of this series, and this is the sixth. On release day a long-time reader noted having followed the series from printed booklets to digital files.

At the same time, readers pointed out independently, between 2022 and 2024, that the book can be picked up without the earlier volumes. A design meant to welcome newcomers midway through the numbering kept doing that work for years. In the hall it is tenth in the shota category and eighteenth among onee-shota works.
