The onee-shota story has been written as one in which the older party teaches. "Osu ni Natta Boku to Mesu ni Natta Oneechan" stands in the hall for taking the knowledge away from the teacher as well.

Over a long holiday, an older girl from the family has come to look after a boy at his house. It is an onee-shota work in the line of so-called muchi stories, beginning from a point where neither of them has any sexual knowledge. The aim, in the artist's own words, is that she carries an older person's sense of responsibility throughout, and that the boy is never allowed to swagger.

Works of this type are usually built either on the older party leading or on the boy scheming. This one hands the initiative to neither side, and many readers have set down that freshness. What they see as the hinge of the construction is a stretch of a few pages in the middle, in which she sits alone and thinks. Honjou Tatami, the artist behind the circle WASABI, paints in washes as pale as watercolour and lets the page run free of panel borders. Readers write that her upright way of standing alone conveys her upbringing.

WASABI is a sparing name with only four titles on DLsite; this is the second, and the first in comic form. Forty-eight full-colour pages come with a monochrome edition included, and in 2023 a full-colour edition appeared in general ebook stores as well.

Official translations run to seven languages. That a book first released as doujin moved into general stores and into seven languages is a record of this subject and this style of drawing travelling beyond the doujin frame. It stands 45th among the hall's doujin works, 3rd in the shota division and 4th in onee-shota.
