Netorare no Toriko: Kasumi no Kimochi stands in the hall as the second instalment of the first original series by IRODORI, a circle that has been releasing work through download sales since 2001.
The series is a netorare story set in a school, and this instalment retells the events of the first book from the heroine's side. Its subject matter includes blackmail and a relationship that begins without consent. Two further instalments, a compilation and a complete edition followed. Readers point to the quality of the artwork.
The circle's work has been on DLsite since 2001, and in 2012 and 2013 its doujinshi entered the weekly and monthly doujin rankings at Toranoana's Akihabara store.
It went on sale first on FANZA in June 2018 and reached DLsite more than three years later, in October 2021. Most of its readers found it on FANZA. It stands 185th among the hall's doujin works.
