One boy alone in a class at a school that, until recently, admitted only girls. Class de Otoko wa Boku Hitori!? ~Kawaii Ano Ko-tachi ni Kakomarete~ gives that one-line premise shape in full color on every page, and stands in the hall as Neyagurui's first release, a doujinshi that went on to be animated.
Because of his parents' circumstances, a male student transfers into a former girls' school and becomes the only boy in his class; the work follows his relationship with two gyaru classmates, Rio and Mao. It is an adult doujin comic in the school-life genre, and its official genres include harem and sweet romance.
Reviewers agree on how appealingly the characters are drawn and on the pairing of two gyaru set apart by different skin tones. A bright mood with nothing mean-spirited in it, and an unusual way of coloring the eyes with fluorescent tints, are also mentioned.
By the circle's own credit, the original concept is by Shitsuji and the art by Oniben Katze. A sequel set in a dormitory followed in 2020, turning the book into the first of the Otoko wa Boku Hitori!? series.
Released in July 2019 as a FANZA exclusive, it rose to first place on the store's 24-hour doujin chart. In 2023 it became an adult OVA, and more than six years after release new reviews are still coming in. Titles built on the same device, a lone boy among girls, later came from other circles as well. It stands 184th among the hall's doujin works.
