A book that came out in print in 2007 was carried into the hall by readers voting on the books of that year. Itsumo Kimi o Kanjiteru is Hagure Tanishi's first book, and one of three titles tied for second place in the Eromanga Taisho for 2007.
It is a collection of nine love stories, most of them from Comic Megastore. The romances are with people close at hand, such as a classmate, the young woman next door, a senior at a part-time job or a younger cousin, and the themes extend to childhood friends and to teachers and students. The publisher's description puts forward a soft line and the shifting feelings of the characters.
Five years after the print edition, it was digitised in 2012. The second book, Motto Kimi o Kanjitai, came some six and a half years later and echoes this one in its title.
The Eromanga Taisho is a readers' poll run by volunteers on 2channel, in which each voter picks up to five commercial collections from the year. It gathers readers' esteem rather than sales, and this record is how the book entered EHOF. Shop charts from those months are missing from the records at hand, so it is the poll that carries the book's reception in the print era. It stands 199th among the hall's commercial works.
The figures are an automated tally of public data from DLsite (commercial) and FANZA Books; nothing is adjusted by hand. The score and the ranking follow the formulas published in full in the Selection Criteria. The appreciation text is written by EHOF and has no connection to the rights holders or the retailer.
