Osanazuma to Issho stands in the hall as the second collection in which Gengoro set out the focus on marriage and household that would define the work to come.
Its centre is the title series: through a match arranged by their parents, a very young bride named Sakurako marries a much older husband, and the chapters follow their married life. Eleven pieces in all make up this adult collection in the loli genre, published under Akaneshinsha's TENMA COMICS LO imprint.
What readers mention most often is the artist's habit of letting faces shift from one expression to the next. Several reviews also point to the consistency with which the eleven pieces keep out gloom and unhappy endings.
Gengoro's work in adult magazines goes back to COMIC LO in 2010, and this is the second collection, following Kyou mo Nekasenai kara in 2013.
