Under the single word "home", this book houses both long-lived spirits and an ordinary family. Itoshiki Wagaya stands in the hall as a collection assembled exactly as its title promises.

It rests on two serials. In the first, four chapters long, a kikimora, the household spirit of Russian folklore, serves as head maid in a mansion her kind has kept for generations, and the plot turns on the difference in species between her and the heir, and on the question of who will carry the house forward. The second, Papa wa Manamusume ni Katenai, also in four chapters, is an incest story about a father and daughter. Between them sit three short pieces about an elf, a hermit sage and a fox spirit. At the centre of the book are non-human heroines who look young but have lived for a very long time, the type known as loli-baba.

What draws comment is how the faces carry the gap between appearance and age. Several readers single out expressions that hold an elder's composure and a flash of embarrassment in the same youthful face. One review on DLsite, written in simplified Chinese, also dwells on the finer points of expression.

This is Gengoro's fourth collection, published three years after Shoujo Konkatsu Jidai: Looking for the one and the first issued outside the TENMA COMICS LO imprint. Sequels to that book's elf and hermit stories are included here, and the strand of non-human, long-lived heroines, once confined to the last pages of the previous volume, has grown into one of this book's pillars.

Print and digital editions both came out in January 2021. It is the third of the artist's three works in the hall and ranks 169th among commercial works.
