Mesugaki Dakedo Hatsuiku Ii node Semen Kyouiku Shitemita is the third collection by Hikoma Hiroyuki, who has published every book under a single imprint since debut.
It gathers nine pieces from COMIC LO, one of them a two-part story, and official genre listings classify it as loli and school-setting. One piece is an epilogue to a story drawn around the time of the previous book, running a thin thread between the two volumes.
One reviewer notes that the two-part story sets an inner voice alongside the spoken lines. The DLsite edition carries a store-exclusive gallery of character designs and other setting art at the back.
It appeared four years after the artist's book debut in 2013. All six collections to date have come from Akane Shinsha under the TENMA COMICS LO imprint.
In its year of release it placed 26th on the annual adult manga bestseller list at Toranoana's Akihabara store A. It stands 89th in the commercial hall. The artist has three collections in the hall: the previous book from 2015, this one, and the next from 2019.
