It caught the air of the late 2010s in the details of clothing and occupation. Mannaka. stands in the hall as the most widely read of Kiyomiya Ryou's books.
It is an adult short-story collection in the loli genre, with girls as its protagonists, gathering eight stories, among them a brother-and-sister story and one built around a video streamer. The stories first ran in Hit Shuppansha's COMIC Aun, and the collection spans roughly five years of work.
What readers return to, again and again, is how contemporary it feels. The sense of fashion belongs to its own moment, and the profession of video streamer is written into the stories themselves. Readers have taken it as the genre in its present-day form rather than a retread of older conventions. The tone ranges from bright pieces to heavier ones later in the book, and because each lead has a different temperament, no two stories feel alike. Many readers also single out the soft line and the close attention paid to facial expression.
The print edition appeared from Seraphin Comics in December 2018, and the digital edition followed on DLsite and FANZA on the same day in February 2019. It was Kiyomiya Ryou's first print collection in four years, after Kurarusu in 2014; Kokoro ga Yomeru Kare to, Ecchi na Mousou o Suru Kanojo. and Namamusume followed in 2021.
Seven years after its digital release, in October 2026, it returned to the DLsite daily rankings, and that same month Kiyomiya Ryou entered the hall as an artist. It stands 145th among the hall's commercial works.
