My Imouto Secret stands in the hall as a 2013 collection that, six and a half years after it appeared in print, found its readership anew through a digital release.
Tsubaki Juushirou has worked almost without interruption on stories about siblings. DLsite's official genre listing files this book as an adult work in the incest category, centred on a younger sister who is a student; it gathers nine short stories and closes with a newly drawn piece.
A review from the week of its print release described the drawing as plain and lightly stylised, of a kind suited to a general young men's magazine, and judged that building the book from self-contained stories alone brought out the artist's strengths. Several readers of the digital edition observe that, against the artist's usual unadorned faces, this book has many that are more polished and glamorous. It can be read as a realist draughtsman adjusting, slightly, how faces are made.
The artist debuted in 2006 and published mainly with G-Walk. This was the first book from TI-Net and, by the count of that contemporary review, the fifth collection of new work.
The print edition appeared in June 2013 and placed eighth in Toranoana's adult comic sales for that month. The digital edition of December 2019 rose, a little over six months later, to fourth on DLsite's daily chart. On DLsite it has gathered more ratings than any other book by the artist, and it stands 219th among the hall's commercial works.
