A collection that refuses to turn bright still placed high in a store's annual print chart, and four years later it was made into animation. Mebuki stands in the hall for carrying its dark temper all the way on the density of its drawing.

It is Eightman's second collected volume, gathering work first published in Comic Hotmilk. It holds the two-part title story, in which a girl streamer loses her footing after an offline meet-up; AM10:28, about a schoolgirl who turns to paid dating for the sake of the performer she adores; Kingyobachi, four chapters on a village whose custom is to raise its daughters to serve men; and the epilogue Mebukisou. Its subjects include relations without consent, drugs and paid dating.

Readers agree that this is classic work of its kind, a familiar form pushed to its limit through drawing and direction. The care reaches the texture of skin and the faces, the hand-lettering, the cutting of the panels. Kingyobachi draws people in very different positions from several sides and lets small objects carry their feelings. Reviewers add that endings offering no rescue stay with them after the book is closed.

It followed Honnou of 2018 and appeared in 2020 in the same Megastore Comics line. Readers see the drawing and composition advanced a step while the temper of the earlier book holds.

In print it placed fourth in the 2020 annual adult-manga sales of Toranoana's Akihabara A store. In 2024 Pink Pineapple released a two-episode OVA. It stands 118th among the hall's commercial works.
