There are adult manga that spend most of their pages on not doing it. Shojo ga Doutei to no Hatsutaiken de Mezamechau Hanashi 2 enters the hall on that allocation alone.

Since the night in the first volume the two of them have given themselves over to it, and her grades have fallen. It is the boy who proposes the ban: nothing until the exams are over. The volume runs to eighty-eight pages between the main story and the new material, and its middle stretch holds no sex at all. She licks a pen in class, flashes her underwear in a corridor, sends photographs. He holds out.

Once, and only once, he tells her off in earnest. In the scene where she ought to be crushed, something opens instead. Those few pages are what readers cite most. In the first volume it was the boy who finished at the barest touch; here it is her turn. The same gesture is laid down again across two volumes with the receiving party swapped, and the stretch of abstinence is the run-up that makes it land. A reader writing in Chinese arrives at the same reading: it is the sexless middle that lets the second half work.

The words for virgin boy and virgin girl remain in the title. The official listing, however, states plainly that neither is present in this volume. The title has become a record of something already past.

It is the sixth release from Dojiro, working as the circle Dojiro Books, and the series has since run to a fourth volume. It stands tenth in the pure-love division and fortieth among doujin works in the hall.
