First-time stories in adult manga are, as a rule, told from the boy's side. "Shojo ga Doutei to no Hatsutaiken de Mezamechau Hanashi" swaps that vantage point entirely, and enters the hall for it.

Two high school students are each other's first. She invites him in, the uniform buttons come undone, and up to that point the scene runs to type. Then he finishes at the mere touch of her chest, and watching him, something in her opens. From there the book becomes the story of a girl pursuing a boy.

Her interior monologue runs the whole length of the volume. What she is thinking, what excites her, how far she judges she may go: that voice is read simultaneously with the image, and readers say the effect exists only in comics. The boy is not diminished either. He is pushed, but when the moment calls for it he takes charge. Even her decision to come to school without underwear is explained not by the act itself but by wanting to see his face when he notices. The sex is forceful; the motive always sits with the other person.

Dojiro assembled the five chapters from social media and a paid support site, then drew eight new pages depicting the night of the first time. Sequels have since run to a fourth volume, and both "Shojo ga Doutei to no Hatsutaiken de Mezamechau Hanashi 2" and its third instalment have entered the hall as well.

Fan translation carried the book into English, where it has an entry in the reference databases, and comments in English and Chinese sit alongside the Japanese ones on the store page. It stands nineteenth among doujin works and fifth in the pure-love division.
