It is an adult work on the subject of compensated dating by a high school girl, the genre known as enkō. Flush from a well-paid side job, the heroine tells those around her it is some other kind of work. What she began for money gradually becomes an end in itself. Readers name that reversal, the title turned inside out by its contents, as the core of the book, and several read it as running in the opposite direction from the "wakarase" pattern, in which a character is brought to heel by one particular partner.

Thirty-six pages of the main story are followed by twelve pages of a crossdressing-boy version re-edited from them. The same drawings are recut into a different narrative, and only the ending turns the other way. Getting two readings from one book is a common compliment, but what sets this volume apart is that the second reading is a variation on the first.

Meme50, the artist behind the circle Meme-ya, has a shelf of commercial collections. One reader discusses the construction directly: panel rhythm sets the reading speed, and everyday scenes are held to exactly the length needed to deepen a character. Here that artist tried this recombination in a self-published book. FAKKU publishes the English edition as "I Love Money". It stands 23rd among doujin works.
