What netorare actually works on is the imagination of the person who is not in the room. Count 100 builds that into a single device, and enters the hall for it.

A married pair of agents pursuing a criminal organisation are caught instead and put in separate rooms. What is set in front of the husband is a meter. Each time the wife arrives the number climbs, and the terms are that at one hundred no gas will be released into his cell. The number is all he is given at first. Sound reaches him afterwards. What was actually happening is shown to him on film only once it is all over.

Of seventy-one full-colour pages, sixteen sit outside the act. The wife does not fold quickly. Readers count off, over and over, how long the defiant face is held. The other party is kept to one man and almost no implements are used. A face going wet and sound effects crowding the page are all that report what is advancing underneath.

The circle Iris art began publishing in 2015. For its author, Toda Hisaya, this is a ninth release; the habit of taking a long run-up to the fall was there before, but this is the book in which that hand reached a wide readership.

It stands first in the married-woman category and fourth in netorare. Its DLsite download figure is more than four times that of anything else the circle has released.
