Give a relationship a name and the story starts to move. "Mesudachi" built an entire template out of a single coinage.

A rural village with little to do. A boy from a timber family, and the landowner's daughter he has known all his life. She finds the magazines he had hidden, teases him for them, escalates past the point of return, and the line is crossed. Afterwards the two do not become a couple. They remain friends who sleep together, and the title is the word for that.

The heroine Z-ton draws carries a boyish register of speech and a fully developed body at once. Readers return to two details: fingers sinking into the flesh of her backside, and the thickness of the anatomy in the cross-section panels. A third is structural, the two interior monologues set in alternation. When she admits that she provoked him because being seen as unfeminine stung, the opening ceases to be a one-sided accident. The frequent remark that the ordinary scenes are already charged points at that same design.

The book is the circle's second release on the store, and the series has since run to nearly ten volumes. A two-episode OVA appeared across 2022 and the following year, and official editions exist in Japanese, English, simplified and traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese. It stands twentieth among doujin works.
