A sequel can get by on repeating the terms of the first book. Iribitari Gyaru ni Manko Tsukawasete Morau Hanashi 2 stands in the hall as a second instalment that rebuilt the same pair's story from its opening and moved it forward.

It is an original adult doujinshi with student protagonists, the second in a series about Kuroda Hikaru, a black-haired gal who keeps turning up in an otaku classmate's room to read his manga, and the room's owner. Picking up the bargain struck in the first book, it opens on a day off, with her arriving in her own clothes and in a bad mood.

There is no manga-reading in this one; the bookshelf that served as her reason for coming recedes into the background. Manno, the artist behind the circle Amagami Honpo, lets a heroine built as expressionless in the first book show anger and irritation on her face. Several reviews on both DLsite and FANZA single out those expressions, and reading the two books side by side for the difference has become an established way into the series.

It was distributed at Comic Market 103 in December 2023; the digital edition reached FANZA in February 2024 and DLsite five months later, in July. An animated version based on this book also exists.

The series has since run to a fifth instalment, with stories about heroines other than Kuroda in between, and three of its books, the first, this one and the third, have entered the doujin hall. It stands 34th among the hall's doujin works.
