A form can serve as the blueprint for a story. "Shuin Kairaku Jigoku Kōsu Sejutsu Dōisho" stands in the hall for using a single consent form as one, all the way through.

It begins when a boy visiting a treatment parlour signs the consent form without thinking much of it. It belongs to the onee-shota category, older women and a younger boy, and takes teasing and control inside the parlour as its subject; the official genre list reads teasing, restraint and no penetration.

The DLsite product page carries no synopsis. In its place sits the form itself, in full: the list of standard procedures, a column of checkboxes for the options, the cautions, the signature line. The reader is made to read the paperwork before buying, in the same order as the boy. The book follows that order too, but the reader begins without knowing which boxes he ticked. Each item revealed forces a recount of what remains, and the arithmetic itself becomes the device that draws things out. Only afterwards does the reader realise that one line in the cautions had set the terms of the ending.

The page does not show everything. Readers point out that parts of the procedure are left out, so that the reader fills them in and the book grows larger in the mind. Several of the posted reviews come from readers who identify as women, which is part of how it was received.

Dibi began releasing doujin work in 2019, and this book, arriving after a three-year gap, was read far more widely than anything before it. The same name has five commercial volumes. Official translations run to six languages. It stands 35th among doujin works and second in the onee-shota division.
