A popular form is easiest to see when someone turns it over. Mesugaki ga Arawareta stands in the hall for turning one over and never turning it back.

A salaryman, freshly chewed out by his boss, is approached by a girl with a sharp mouth. There is taunting, there is an invitation, and the scene moves to a cubicle in a shopping mall restroom. From there to the end, control never passes to the man. Works of this kind in those years were built on a reversal, the mouthy girl taught the difference in strength. There is no reversal here. She asks for no money, keeps her top on to the last page, and never loses her composure.

SAKULA does not fudge the girl's body. Readers write about it in specifics: a high waist, proportions that ought to read as older, and yet a figure that still reads as a child. Cutaway views of the insertion recur throughout, and the dialogue is printed with each balloon in its own colour. Thirty-four pages hold the whole encounter, from meeting to parting, without a stall.

It is the second release from the circle Hamenzu. The listing offered a cover and little else, so buyers relied on one another's reviews; that chain built up more than twenty thousand ratings, and two sequels followed.
