A doujin series went on being read for the better part of five years, changing form from print to a commercial digital edition and finally to an omnibus. "JK Yome Sakura no Kagai Jugyou Gappon-ban" stands in the hall as the point where that journey was gathered into a single book.
It collects a trilogy about the married life of Sakura, a high-school student, and her homeroom teacher, a marriage the two keep hidden from everyone around them. It is an adult school story built on a secret marriage between teacher and student, with an age gap between them; its settings widen from the home to the school, and its devices grow bolder with each chapter. Among the genres readers have attached to it, the sweet married-couple story is the most common.
The art is by Suzuki Akoni, who has built up a body of commercial work in the magazine Comic Babel. Reviews agree on the beauty of the drawing and the care of the line. The three printed books all came out at Comic Market within a single year, from the end of 2015 to the end of 2016, and one review observes that reading the three chapters straight through shows the art improving visibly over that year. The omnibus lays that change out within the covers of a single book.
The circle Ziggurat published the series jointly with Suzuki Akoni's own circle, “Konezu Step!”, and began distributing on DLsite with it in 2016. After a stretch as a commercial digital release as well, the chapters were gathered into this omnibus in 2020.
It stands 140th among the hall's doujin works, and it is the only work from Ziggurat in the hall.
