Seiso Kanojo, Ochiru. II stands in the hall for shifting the weight of its telling into the heroine's inner voice, and for surpassing its predecessor even as a sequel.

It is the second instalment of a netorare series set at a school, and it runs to sixty-three pages against the first volume's thirty-four. The story opens as Tsukimi, released by the upperclassman, believes she can finally reclaim her time with her boyfriend Takagi.

What readers on both stores point to, independently, is that the measure by which she compares the two young men spreads into everyday conduct: who pays for the meal and who splits the bill, who notices things and who does not. What is being weighed becomes the size of the man. Some also observe that the boyfriend's side of the story is barely shown, so that the book reads as a tale of the taking rather than of the loss.

Great Moth, the artist of the circle Mosquito On., released it at the end of 2020, timed to Air Comiket 2, the online event held when the convention itself could not open. It reached DLsite the following spring. Among the DLsite reviews, posts from readers who identify themselves as women stand out, reflecting how far the genre's readership had spread.

On FANZA Doujin it reached first place on the daily, weekly and monthly charts alike. In the hall it stands 15th among doujin works and second in the netorare category, above its predecessor in both.
