To draw someone who has changed, you first have to show what she was. "Moto Inkya no Kyonyuu Yariman Imouto ga Erosugite, Onii-chan wa Mou!!" rises from keeping that order.

The title tells most of the plot. A plain younger sister who used to sit with her books comes home with dyed hair, polished and practised at going out. Her brother, who has a girlfriend of his own, is unsettled by the change. It is an adult work on the subject of sibling incest, in the line of the so-called wakarase plot, in which a cheeky sister who teases her brother has the tables turned on her in the second half.

What readers name as a strength of construction is that the book properly shows the before. Because the scruffy-haired version of her comes first, the change has a drop to it. Why she changed is told the following year in a prequel, "0: Jimiko no Watashi ga Kawatta Riyuu". Readers also return again and again to the skill of its composition.

The artist, Ichimiya Yuu, came out of commercial work, and the circle IchiBocchi's books had been on sale for years before. Four more books about this brother and sister followed. Official English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese editions appeared on the same day as the Japanese one: a book multilingual from birth.

It is second in the incest division, and 51st among the hall's doujin works. It holds more ratings than any other volume in the series, and is the only one stocked on both stores.
