Dosukebe JK Gal no Honki Sakusei is the earliest released of the circle Shirasudon's works in the hall, and it stands here as a record of the period when the circle's style was taking shape.
It is an adult work set at a school, in which a gyaru girl and an otaku boy in the same class grow close at his home through a shared love of video games. A short story of 28 pages, it belongs to the familiar "gyaru who is kind to otaku" pattern.
Written reviews are few, but they agree that the heroine is not drawn as someone acting one-sidedly; she is a person who likes him and whose feelings run both ways. Some reviews accept the pattern as a standard one and point to the quality of the art.
Shirasudon began selling downloads in September 2021, and this, released in February 2022, was the circle's fifth work. Two more titles bearing the word "dosukebe" followed. It can also be read as a work from the years when doujin comics with gyaru in their titles were increasing on DLsite year by year.
Official translations exist in Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English. Most of its readers have found it on FANZA. It stands 132nd among the hall's doujin works.
