The EHOF hall has a second door, opened not by sales but by the record of awards. Yarashii Karada no Watashitachi came in through it, and stands in the hall as a collection built around a love story between a call girl and her client.
At its centre is a two-chapter serial: a woman who works for an outcall service while also drawing a large following as a streamer, and a young fan who travels a long way to meet her. The question running through it is whether the two can get past the lines between worker and client, streamer and fan. Around it sit five stand-alone stories about two gyaru, a woman working for a removals company, an exchange student and a teacher, a hitchhiker, and an uncle and niece, a story of incest.
What readers name first is how carefully each situation is built. Every chapter changes the heroine's position, and the title serial carries the bond between worker and client through to a real meeting of feelings. Reviewers agree, too, on the clean aftertaste of a book with no bad endings. The digital special edition adds newly drawn epilogue strips for every story. The serial ran in COMIC Kairakuten.
This is the third collection Ouga Umanosuke has published with Wanimagazine. The two before it, Nenmaku in 2020 and Haru no Uzuki in 2021, both placed high in the annual print rankings of a specialist store and a mail-order shop. This one came out in May 2023, with print and digital editions appearing together.
It took second place in the 2023 edition of Kono Ero-Manga ga Sugoi!, a feature in Weekly SPA! chosen by people in the industry. It stands 91st among the hall's commercial works.
The figures are an automated tally of public data from DLsite (commercial) and FANZA Books; nothing is adjusted by hand. The score and the ranking follow the formulas published in full in the Selection Criteria. The appreciation text is written by EHOF and has no connection to the rights holders or the retailer.
