JC Manual stands in the hall as Yukiame Kon's second collection, published two years after the artist's debut book.
It is an adult short-story collection in the loli genre, gathering all ten chapters that ran in COMIC LO, and it belongs to Akaneshinsha's TENMA COMICS LO line. The stories take up a range of relationships, among them siblings, club members and their coach, and teachers and pupils.
Yukiame Kon made their book debut in 2013 with Shoujo wa Kyou,. Every collection since has appeared in the TENMA COMICS LO line, and alongside the commercial work the artist also draws doujinshi as the circle MeltdoWN COmet.
The print edition came out in July 2015, placed ninth in that year's annual ranking at Toranoana Akihabara Store A, and was later named among that store's hundred books of all time. The digital edition followed in 2016. No award is on record; what carried the book into the hall was its sales. 44th among the hall's commercial works.
