Each panel finished as a picture in its own right. NON VIRGIN stands in the hall as Oda Non's first collection, which holds to that standard in full colour on every page.
It is part short-story collection, part art book: sixteen stories from magazines of 2008 to 2011, joined by cover illustrations and one-page strips. Most of the characters are adult women, set apart by station, from wives and secretaries to a starship captain and a thief, and the settings reach as far as a spaceship. Its official genres include ryoujoku, or sexual violation.
Readers agree that every page is finished as if for an art book. They point to tall figures drawn in a manner close to gekiga and to the density of detail; in stories of about six pages each, every panel holds up as a picture on its own.
Oda Non also works as an illustrator, and this remains their only solo adult book. Its print history begins with the Limited Edition of May 2015, followed by the regular edition that November and a new edition in January 2025.
The book entered the EHOF hall not through the sales gate but through the grand prize at Kono Ero-Manga ga Sugoi! 2015, yet it sold well in print too: 8th for 2015 at Toranoana's Akihabara Store A, and 4th that year in FANZA's annual mail-order ranking of print comics. The digital edition followed in 2016, and an English edition has been published by FAKKU. It stands 82nd among the hall's commercial works.
The figures are an automated tally of public data from DLsite (commercial) and FANZA Books; nothing is adjusted by hand. The score and the ranking follow the formulas published in full in the Selection Criteria. The appreciation text is written by EHOF and has no connection to the rights holders or the retailer.
