A first book that became an animation the following year. Hatsujou Switch: Otosareta Shoujotachi stands in the hall on that record and on drawing that holds steady to the last page, the commercial starting point of Ichimiya Yuu.
It collects eight instalments of the Hatsujou Switch series from Comic Unreal, plus two standalone stories. Set mainly around a school, it is a serial in the induced-arousal genre: an unremarkable middle-aged man who can spot a pressure point that forces arousal targets one woman after another, and the run closes with a final chapter in which the earlier characters plot to strike back at him.
What reviewers raise first is that, for a debut collection, the art stays consistent from first page to last, and that the draftsmanship is assured. Several also read the series as varying a fixed pattern by giving each chapter a character of a different temperament.
The serial began in 2016, and the print volume followed in November 2017. Ichimiya Yuu's second book, In-Moral Game Master, came about six and a half years later in 2024, and it too was adapted as an OVA the year after. The artist also publishes doujin work as the circle IchiBocchi.
The OVA was released by Pink Pineapple in October 2018, and it has an entry in an English-language anime database. The magazine that ran the series is a fantasy and science-fiction title known for carrying stories built on unusual premises such as forced arousal. It ranks 216th among the hall's commercial works.
