NTR2 stands in the hall as a work that pursued cuckoldry to its end across the length of a full book, and has long been counted among the outer limits of the genre.

Set at a college-preparatory school that forbids dating, it is a cuckoldry story that begins when a teacher learns that two childhood friends have become a couple, and uses the boy's school recommendation to threaten the girl. It offers no redemption, right to the last page.

Rather than settling matters in a few chapters, as the form usually does, it spends some 250 pages tracing its characters' states of mind stage by stage, and readers agree that this is what defines it. The point of view moves between the girl, the teacher and the boy, so that the story changes its face depending on whom one reads alongside. Even readers who scored it low grant the strength of its drawing and composition, and that conviction on the page is what carries the weight of the story.

Warnings about how long it lingers have arrived side by side with praise that places it at the summit of the genre. Setting it beside the brightness of Maken no Kishi four years later, some readers say it is hard to believe the two books came from the same hand.

It was Namonashi's fourth book, and it raised cuckoldry as a second pillar for an artist who had begun with tentacles. The first edition, published by Wani Magazine in 2014, placed tenth for that year at Toranoana's Akihabara A store. In 2019 GOT reissued it with previously uncollected pages, and it went to first place on DLsite's daily chart soon after release. It stands 187th among the hall's commercial works.
