The story begins where the demon lord falls. Reizoku Maou stands in the hall for following the aftermath of that victory across long years and into the next generation.

A hero who saved the world, and was then feared for it, withdraws to a remote place with the demon queen he defeated; that is the four-part Reizoku Maou. In the same world, a warrior who once fought at the hero's side is married to an elf queen in the four-part Takabisha Elf Kyousei Konin!!; epilogues to both complete this fantasy volume. Its subjects are enslavement by a curse, violation and a forced political marriage.

Reviewers agree on the plotting. Having won fame, the hero finds himself the one to be feared, and his own words carry the loneliness of the victor. Many point to a structure that runs on to the end of a life, like a chronicle, and many note that the demon queen never yields to the very end. The range of the women's expressions and the easy flow of the panels are praised as well.

山本善々 has drawn doujin work as the circle B.B.T.T. This book collects two series the circle released between 2016 and 2019, and in the National Diet Library's holdings it is the artist's second book. Gathering serialized doujin work into commercial volumes has remained a pattern in the work since.

The print edition came out from Leed under its Kuriberon imprint in November 2019. It is the only Kuriberon book in the hall, and it stands 251st among the hall's commercial works.
