Drawing that treats each panel as a finished illustration carries a collection among the harshest of its kind. Hametsu Otome Shuu stands in the hall as Zutta's first book.
A princess-general, an agent of a hero organization, an inquisitor, an exorcist, a vampire hunter, an all-woman party of heroes: in nine short stories, fighting women fall to overwhelming enemies. Every story ends badly, and beyond violation the endings include petrification, bodily transformation, mutilation and death.
Reviewers agree on the assurance of the drawing. One describes the care in the character designs and the composition and posing worked out panel by panel as if each were an illustration, and others add that the quality does not slip anywhere in the book. Several also note the range of settings, from fantasy to present-day espionage, and how the collection holds to exactly what its title promises.
Zutta describes their own work as manga and illustration for hard tastes, and also releases doujin work with MANA as the circle けんじゃたいむ. For now, this is the only commercial book.
The print edition came out from Kill Time Communication under the 2D Dream Comics imprint in May 2021. Among the hall's commercial works it is the only one carrying petrification among its official DLsite genres. It stands 252nd among the hall's commercial works.
