An artist known for cuckoldry stories turned the theme inside out with a third collection. Okashite Ageru stands in the hall as the book in which that reversal found a wide readership, in print and in digital alike.
It gathers six short stories, five from COMIC Mugen Tensei and one drawn new for the volume. Its subject is what readers call reverse netorare: a man who already has a partner is drawn across the line by another woman. One story alone follows the conventional cuckoldry plot. The stories are set at a school, in family homes and elsewhere, and the cast includes teachers, a girlfriend's older sister and a private tutor.
What readers agree on most is the rendering of faces, the mouth above all, which they read as Zonda's signature. Reviewers also return to the construction: each of the six stories sets up a situation of its own, and the partner who is betrayed is written as a decent person, which gives the stories their weight.
Zonda has published every collection with TI-Net. Hitozuma x Netorare in 2017 and Boku no Kanojo o Netotte Kudasai in 2018 both took cuckoldry as their subject; this third book reverses its direction.
The print edition appeared in July 2020 under the MUJIN COMICS imprint and ranked third for the year in FANZA's mail-order ranking of print adult comics, a sharp rise from the two earlier books. The digital edition followed three months later. It stands 73rd among the hall's commercial works.
