Akuma Mitai ni Kimi wa Tatteta is Kamita's first book, published some five and a half years after its title story first appeared. It stands in the hall for the sureness of its draftsmanship, and for the record it left in the final chart of an Akihabara specialist shop about to close.
It is a loli-genre adult collection of seven stories, most of them from COMIC LO. The stories deal with relationships between girls and older men such as an uncle or a home tutor, and the themes run to age gaps and incest. Some have a background of abuse at home or the aftermath of a sex crime.
What readers agree on is that the cover and the drawing style drew them to the book. They point to a strong hand and clean, careful rendering, and readers on both DLsite and FANZA say they were pulled into the stories and read straight through.
The title story ran in the January 2017 issue of COMIC LO, on sale in November 2016. Kamita kept contributing to the magazine, and the collection came together in 2022. It also reprints one story from the artist's own doujinshi.
The print edition came out from Akane Shinsha's TENMA COMICS LO imprint at the end of June 2022. On the chart for the first half of 2022 at Toranoana's Akihabara Store A, it placed 21st, counted soon after its release. The store was to close at the end of August, and this was its last chart. It stands 196th among the hall's commercial works.
