One line near the end has stayed with a great many readers. Onozuka-senpai wa Warui Hito stands in the hall as a book carried from first page to last by the way a single upperclassman talks.

Set at a university, it follows a male student whose hobby is covert photography. At the very spot where he takes his pictures he meets an older woman from the same university, and the two begin a relationship. It is a short adult work about a consensual relationship between an upperclassman and a junior, and it closes with an epilogue.

What reviewers keep returning to is her voice: blunt and tomboyish, yet easygoing and someone to lean on. The young man opposite her is drawn with restraint and never crowds her out. Her closing “baaka”, roughly "dummy", is the line reviewer after reviewer singles out, and the brisk opening and the care carried all the way into the epilogue are praised as well.

It is the second release from the circle Dagasiya, whose author, Kishiwagashi, published it about two years and three months after the first, Kakyuu Majutsushi, Inmon ni Somaru. The expressive faces readers pointed to in that debut are noticed here too, now in how the eyes are handled from scene to scene. The DLsite release came in November 2024, ten days after a printed doujinshi edition went on sale in Toranoana's online shop.

Counting titles alone, DLsite manga with "senpai" in the name grew from 63 in 2019 to 225 in 2024, and this book is part of that spread. It stands 74th among the hall's doujin works and 14th in the Loli division.
