Rank in this hall is not settled by sales alone. Nudist Beach ni Shuugaku Ryokou de!! stands where it stands because the votes and citations of its own year were added to the count.

The school trip goes to Europe; the free-day destination is a nudist beach. Erections are against the rules, the class president is the one who breaks them, and the girls are sent into the tent one after another. A premise like that could have been a single joke. The achievement here is that it held a serial for nine chapters.

Shiwasu no Okina's craft shows in the handling of numbers. A full class of girls appears with nothing on, and not one body, complexion or voice blurs into another. Uniformed glimpses of the classroom are cut in throughout, so the everyday image and the naked one keep being set against each other, and the reader keeps verifying the distinctions. That there is only ever one boy is likewise design: that the pleasure comes free of any unpleasantness is a judgment Japanese and English readers reach alike.

The run in COMIC Aun lasted a little over a year. Eighteen years after the debut, it is the furthest this artist has carried the harem form.

Fourth place at the Ero-Manga Grand Prize 2015, and a category prize at Kono Ero-Manga ga Sugoi!. Two animated adaptations followed, and the book exists in traditional Chinese, English and Italian. Its author stands first among the artists in the hall.
