Seikatsu Shuukan stands in the hall as a debut collection that already lays out the forms its artist would go on to follow.

It holds two serials of five chapters each from Comic Grape. The first, Kinyokubu, is a school harem story in which a group of schoolgirls start a secret club with a teacher, ostensibly to train themselves to bear the boys' stares. The second, Ane Taiken Shuukan, follows three younger sisters who did nothing but abuse their brother until he turns into a child and they start doting on him; it belongs to the onesho type, built on incest and an inversion of age.

What readers name first is the two-part structure, the complete change of colour between the halves. Many also say every heroine has a distinct personality and that they would gladly meet them all again. Nothing is forced: Kinyokubu follows one of its characters through to marriage in an epilogue, and Ane Taiken Shuukan closes with the brother restored to himself. Readers return to that good aftertaste again and again.

Michiking debuted in COMIC Kairakuten in 2013, and this first book came two years later. The later Shuujuu Ecstasy and Azatomaking, both also in the hall, extend the forms set out here. An animated adaptation followed in 2019, and a new edition in 2024. The book stands 17th among the hall's commercial works.
