Tanabe Kyou has placed each of the first three books of a career in the hall. Puchikkusu, the second, stands there for dramaturgy that takes a plot shape capable of turning heavy and reworks it into something gentle to read.
It is an adult collection in the loli lineage, centred on small, slight girls. A four-chapter novella about a daughter of a family that runs a public bathhouse is joined by four short stories and four newly drawn colour pages. Its subjects include exhibitionism, a brother and sister, and a young lady and her butler.
The stories borrow the outline of assault fiction, it is said, but never let the male characters hold the girls' fate in their hands. That every story closes on a calm note and leaves no bitter aftertaste is the point on which the reviewer and store readers agree. Commentators also note characterisation built on contrast: the cool girl in glasses, the sister who seems mischievous but is guileless underneath, the haughty young lady.
This followed the 2014 debut Yaritai Sakari as the second book, collecting work from Comic Megastore Alpha. The drawing is said to stay true to the cover and to keep its density throughout.
The print edition appeared in autumn 2016 and the digital one in 2017. Its best DLsite placings came not on release but later: second on the daily chart at the end of 2018 and second on the weekly chart in 2020. Having gathered readers again over the years, it stands 176th among the hall's commercial works.
