In the autumn of 2018, fu-ta arrived with books from two publishers within a single month. Binkan Sweet, the first of the two to appear, stands in the hall as the starting point of Bunendo's Binkan line, which would grow to five books.

It is a collection of short stories about pairs bound by particular ties: an upperclassman and a junior, step-siblings, sisters. FANZA's special digital edition adds a previously uncollected story and exclusive pin-ups. School settings are among them, and the whole book keeps to a pure-love manner, with no stories of force or cuckolding.

Each story stands on its own, yet characters from one turn up in another as supporting players, or surface in passing gossip. Readers on both stores point to this loose linking of the stories, and it was there from the very first book. Reviewers also praise pages that feel lived in, drawn down to the furniture and small objects in a room, faces that find many different kinds of smile in everyday scenes, and a brightness that sometimes tips into comedy.

The print edition came out from Bunendo under the BAVEL COMICS label on 27 September 2018, and on 20 October Wani Magazine followed with Soft and Wet. fu-ta has gone on to appear regularly among the contributors to COMIC BAVEL.

In print, the book placed 12th in FANZA's annual mail-order comics ranking for 2018. It stands 157th among the hall's commercial works.
