One pairing, and nothing else, carried through an entire book. Onee-chan Time stands in the hall as the collection in which an artist devoted to that pairing showed how much range it holds.

It is an adult short-story collection built solely on the relationship between a high-school "big sister" and a younger boy — the genre Japanese readers call oneshota. Across seven episodes the relationship shifts from story to story: actual siblings, a friend's older sister, senior and junior in a school art club, two strangers who share the same commuter train. Its subjects include an age gap and sibling incest.

The soft, approachable drawing never wavers from first page to last. The boys differ from story to story, some cheeky and some quiet, and one story places a lonely child, whose parents come home late, behind a contrary attitude. The volume closes with notes on each story, an afterword and a short extra. Several readers say this book was their way into a pairing they had never cared for, and a review from a woman reader is on record too.

Since publishing a first adult collection, Oneshota Dish, with Akaneshinsha in 2017, Morishima Kon has drawn this pairing and little else. This is the second such book.

The print edition appeared in 2019, the digital editions from the end of that year into the next. By EHOF's own count, three of the six commercial works in the hall whose official genres include oneshota date from 2020. It stands 38th among the hall's commercial works.
