Lolikko Mura Okoshi stands in the hall as the seventh book, the one in which Takashiro Go-ya changed course, and as a volume that left its name on a year-end chart in the age of print.
A young man from the city is invited to a dwindling hamlet to survey it for a revival project. He searches for a local speciality together with the sisters of the household that hosts him and their friend, and by the end the revival has borne fruit and the three set out as local idols. The official genre tags place it as a loli harem work.
Readers agree on its bright comic tone and on the grand finale in which the village recovers its life. The style belongs to the lineage of anime and game art; a review written at the time described a line smoothly refined while keeping a little of its rough edge.
Since a debut collection, Nyou Dou?, the artist has added a volume almost every year, with urination as the constant subject. That contemporary review observed that with this book the heroines' age setting moved younger, and an English-language database, which files the earlier books as school stories, tags those from 2015 onward as loli.
The print volume came out in October 2017 from TI Net's MUJIN COMICS line and placed 20th in FANZA's mail-order comics ranking for that year. The digital edition followed some three years later, in 2020, and on DLsite it has drawn more ratings than any other book by the artist. It stands 61st among the hall's commercial works.
