Themes raised in doujin work, resettled across ten separate worlds. Touki Kuppuku: Ahe-Iki Otome Zetchou Haiboku stands in the hall as the first commercial book by 翡翠石 (read Hisui).
It collects ten short stories of the type known as defeated-heroine stories, in which fighting women are beaten by their enemies and forced to submit; in the words of the official genre tags, the subjects run through violation, tentacles and futanari. A swordswoman exploring ruins, a masked fighter in an underground arena, a nun investigating a cult, an office worker on a packed commuter train: from one story to the next, the setting and the cast change completely.
Readers agree first on the steadiness of the drawing. Several describe a deformed, anime-style line given over to exaggerating every swing of emotion. Others note that the plotting is conventional but that each story is tightly built from setup to close.
As Hisui's own profile states, the artist runs the circle Stapspats, which has been releasing doujin work on DLsite since 2011. This book gathers material first developed there into a commercial collection. A second commercial book, Shinsou Makou Shoujo THE COMIC, followed from the same publisher in 2024.
The print edition came out from Kill Time Communication under the 2D Dream Comics imprint in September 2020. The imprint has a deep line of defeated-heroine books, and this is one of 18 of its titles in the hall. It stands 249th among the hall's commercial works.
