An artist reaching a second collection has to decide whether to close the world of the first or keep living in it. In Love Me, Kyockcho kept living in it.

Like its predecessor, this is a collection of adult short fiction set at school; one piece concerns a teacher and a student, and sex toys are a frequent device. Of the nine chapters, about half continue the previous book, Lovely: the twin-sister serial Kaede to Suzu and Aina's serial both move forward. New faces join them — a library monitor, a cheeky underclassman, a small, cool-headed senior. The digital edition alone adds one more chapter about the twins.

The craft shows in how the panels are cut. A page divided into four, then a second page following on, drawing a single moment out across both. A run of panels in which the camera holds one position and change is carried only by the figures' movement. Readers return to both techniques again and again; the craft that the first book gathered into the face has, here, spread into the time between panels.

This second volume gathers work from COMIC BAVEL, and an English edition came out in print from FAKKU as Love Me. Among the hall's commercial works it stands twenty-third, alongside its predecessor, so that both of the artist's collections are here.
