A short story rises or falls on a single line of premise. Kono Ko Haramasete mo Ii desu ka? stands in the hall for the way it rebuilds its setting and its premise from one story to the next.
It is an adult short-story collection with girls as its protagonists, gathering seven episodes. A teacher and the only pupil at a school on a depopulated island; a brother and sister raised by parents devoted to a new religion; a niece of mixed heritage and her uncle — most of the stories turn on family and the adults close at hand. Its subjects centre on incest and an age gap, and reach as far as a non-human story with a succubus at its centre.
The story readers name most often is the opening one, set at the island school. A pupil keeps to the bell even in a building with no other teacher, and small everyday details of this kind make the closed little world feel lived in. The stories that follow change their hand at the level of premise: a household under strict religious rule, a trip to a hot-spring inn.
This is Airandou's second book, published about ten months after the first collection, Mesukko Daisuki. Where the first spread its relationships wide, this one gives more weight to stories built around family, and adds a two-part structure as well.
The print edition came from Akaneshinsha in November 2020 and placed fourteenth in that year's adult comics bestseller list at Toranoana's Akihabara A store. In 2026 the digital edition still returns again and again to DLsite's daily and weekly charts. It stands 40th among the hall's commercial works.
